503 - Representing Survivors of Violence in College and University Archives [ROOM CHANGE]

This panel session broadly asks how survivors of violence are represented in campus archives. We live in an age of growing awareness of sexual violence, the impact of white supremacy on students of color, and the effects of abuse on survivors. Can campus archives center the voices of survivors while protecting their privacy? We examine the theoretical and practical issues that must be considered in addressing these matters.
