Whether responding to information requests or ensuring transparency, organizations using social media have a need to capture content. Due to the speed at which new platforms and file types evolve, policy and processes must be flexible enough to accommodate dynamic adoption while still providing concrete direction. Speakers in this special focus session discuss NARA's policy and look at how the US Patent and Trademark Office and NARA's own social media program have implemented that policy.

Kristen Albrittain: Implementing Agency-wide Social Media Records Management Across 120+ Accounts
Bethany Cron: Creating Records Management Policy and Guidance for Federal Government Agencies
Laura Larrimore: Communications and Content Creator Perspective on Social Media Records Management (Produced by the United States Patent and Trademark Office; no copyright is claimed by the United States in this presentation or associated materials.)
