205 - Transparent Design: Renovating and Relocating Archives and Special Collections

Each of the five speakers focuses on a different aspect of moving and renovating archives and special collections, including facility design, collections preparation, temporary work space, and working with movers. After short presentations, the chair/moderator asks the speakers questions highlighting their different experiences and then opens up the floor for questions from the audience. The speakers represent a variety of archival repositories, including religious archives, public libraries, private universities, and the Smithsonian Institution.
