In 2016, the HistoryMakers, the nation's largest African American video oral history archive, collaborated with three major universities to sponsor the HistoryMakers Minority Archival Fellowship Program. Fellows from Yale University and Harvard University discuss working with African American collections at majority institutions, project successes and challenges, and the importance of fellowship programs in encouraging more African Americans to enter the archives profession.
