501 - The National Archives Aims for Digital Future: Discuss NARA Strategic Plan and Future of Archives with NARA Leaders

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Fifty years ago the National Archives created its Data Archives Staff; in 2017 we set a goal of only accepting transfers of electronic records after 2022. With additional goals of advancing electronic recordkeeping and digitizing 500 million pages of our collection, this strategic plan is a milestone. NARA leaders promote transparency by sharing how this plan grew out of longstanding work in electronic records and records management and discussing archives' digital future with attendees.
