As web archiving programs mature, the need for active records management becomes apparent. This session looks at how an institution's priorities, needs, and resources affect their program management, appraisal, and web archiving activity. Institutional perspectives from a municipality, a university, a state library, a state archive, and a federal repository address web archiving from a records management point of view, discussing whether their capture approaches would be sufficient to create a transparent, well-managed web archive.
