Leaders from cultural heritage organizations, funding agencies, and an educational institution provide insight into the economics of collaboration across libraries, archives, and museums (LAMs) and cultural heritage funding, addressing both drivers and barriers, and inviting discussion of such economic structural issues as whether LAM projects are sustainable and potentially transformational; whether they are a potential means of securing dwindling resources; and whether efficiencies, economies of scale, and improved interoperability provide sufficient incentives for cross-sector collaborations.
