Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Building on the basic skills learned in the Fundamentals of Project Management for Archivists class, this course delves more deeply into skills you need to manage more complex projects or multiple projects at the same time. Some of the topics discussed include working with partners, risk management, change management, and quality management. You’ll also learn how to develop business case documentation that helps you get buy in from sponsors and stakeholders, kick off your project, and keep it on track. Finally, you’ll learn how to evaluate the project management process and the project outcomes to develop a project management methodology that works for you and your institution. Those who have taken Fundamentals, as well as archivists who have prior on-the-job project management experience, are encouraged to take this advanced course.
