402 - Hello, Is It Me You're Looking For?: Usability Studies in Archives

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

How can your archives, and the tools you employ, work better for your patrons? Conducting a user study is surprisingly easy and doesn't require special tech skills. The speakers demonstrate UX testing workflows, methodologies, and tools, using our own multi-institutional study of the Archive-It user interface as an example. You'll leave equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to create your own user study to make your systems more transparent and user-friendly.
