I'm returning to Special Collections and Archives after taking a circuitous side step into research, and completing a PhD. I previously worked for ten years with special collections and archives at the Universities of Oxford, London and Birmingham (UK), which involved a variety of collection development, outreach, digital and collaborative projects to improve access to collections, as well as operational management of library and archive services. My MLIS is from University College London and I later completed an MPA from Columbia University. I've worked in ten countries, most in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia but I'm now very happy to be based in Baltimore, MD.
