Leslie Thayer Piper is the Archivist of the Sippican Historical Society and the Southborough Historical Society, both in Massachusetts. A second career archivist, she has spent much of her professional life as a choral director, vocal coach and accompanist, and continues her music career as Director of Music/Organist at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church in Marion, MA. She earned an MA in Historical Musicology from Smith College and an MSLIS from Simmons College with a concentration in Archives Management.
