Laura Godden spends most of her time engaged in reference, community projects, classroom instruction, and directing student workers. She received her undergraduate degree in secondary education and political science with a minor in history from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Following that, she earned a master’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She recently finished a second master’s degree, also from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, in library and information science with an archival studies concentration. In her spare time, she enjoys playing guitar, biking (road and mountain), making art, taking photographs, drinking and brewing fine craft beer, and undertaking home improvement projects.
