Courtney Jacobs is the inaugural Head of Outreach and Community Engagement for UCLA Library Special Collections and was previously a Special Collections Librarian at the University of North Texas. She holds a BA in English from Ohio State University and an MSLIS from Syracuse University. In partnership with teaching faculty, she has developed and delivered multiple book history lectures and workshops utilizing primary source materials in support of course curriculum. As part of the 3Dhotbed team, she and her colleagues have harnessed 3D technology to create affordable, accessible teaching models of common tools used in book history instruction.
