Maristella Feustle is the Music Special Collections Librarian at the University of North Texas. She currently serves as chair of MLA's Archives and Special Collections Committee. She is also a member of the Society of American Archivists' Technical Subcommittee on Describing Archives: a Content Standard, and serves as MLA's alternate member on the National Recording Preservation Board. She remains active as a jazz guitarist and pit orchestra musician in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
